A look at our process
When you stop by, take a moment to look into our open concept bakery through the large windows to see the care and expertise that goes into making these satisfying offerings.
You might see the preparation of personal-sized quiches, hundreds of dinner rolls, or sheets of cookies. That’s because in addition to providing goods for the public, Wild Rye also produces items for Seattle Convention Center events.
What's with the car paintings in the bakery?
Fresh, local deliciousness in the making.
Wild Rye stands at a corner that was once occupied by the original Seattle Oldsmobile dealership.
The artwork features historical photos of the dealership as well as images highlighting the brand’s history, such as when the Oldsmobile was named the official car of the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair.
The locally-owned dealership was a part of the neighborhood for decades and Wild Rye is happy to continue the legacy of local business.
